Bill Kirwin is the Vice President of Research and Business Development at GetControl. Bill is formerly a research vice president in Gartner and is recognized as the founder of Gartner’s breakthrough research in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and has been active in the area of IT economics research for more than 20 years. At Gartner Mr. Kirwin focused on IT performance management, productivity, processes and services and the business value of IT. Bill’s experience includes 20 years with Gartner, and 31 years professional background overall in the IT industry, including Timeplex, Inc., as Director, Information Services and Resources, and Royal Business Machines as Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Kirwin holds a B.A. in Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Bill’s mission at CKS is to help clients measure the impact of Info-Excellence training in terms of productivity gains, time saved, and hard dollar savings. Bill is also responsible for the development of new strategic partnerships for CKS. Bill also serves on the Board of Directors for Alinean software.
