Joe Galvin leads the Miller Heiman Research (MHI) Institute as Chief Research Officer and Executive Vice President. Joe’s mission is to continuously research, measure and analyze the best practices, innovations and emerging trends for complex B2B sales organizations. Through the Research Institute, he provides our clients with on-demand access to the most compelling research and insight required to make strategic decisions. In his role, he engages daily with chief sales officers and leadership roles in sales operations, enablement, technology and marketing on the key issues of sales performance, productivity and execution.
Joe spent 17 years with Gartner, becoming group vice president, worldwide field operations. In a sales organization of over 1,200, he held global responsibility for field marketing, sales readiness, executive briefings, sales process, compensation and sales technology, including the global deployment of an on-demand sales force automation platform. His first 5 years in sales was with Xerox in New York City.
Joe has published more than 300 research briefs focused on sales performance and productivity as lead analyst for Gartner, SiriusDecisions and now the Miller Heiman Research Institute.
